Dr. Luong completed her residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in 1998 after graduating from the University of Southern California, School of Medicine in 1994. Before medical school, Dr. Luong attended Occidental College in Los Angeles and studied biology and psychology.
Dr. Luong is board certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Dr. Luong is fluent in Vietnamese and medical Spanish and is currently accepting new patients.

Many women develop vaginal prolapse problems as the result of pregnancy, menopause and aging process. Pelvic organ prolapse occurs when the support system of the vagina is weakened or collapsed, causing the uterus, bladder or rectum to fall into the vagina. Women with this problem may feel pelvic pressure, incomplete urination or bowel movements, urinary leaking or a bulge at the vaginal opening. The most common bladder problem is stress urinary incontinence. Women with this problem experience urinary leaking while coughing, sneezing or doing heavy activities.
We have extensive experience in evaluating and treating these problems. Non-surgical approach involves the use of pessaries. When surgery is indicated, we reconstruct the pelvic anatomy to help our patients restore normal functioning.
